Home Office Admits Clearing 5,000 Illegal Immigrants For Work

About 5,000 illegal immigrants were mistakenly cleared to work as security staff, red-faced staff at the Home Office have confirmed. The government is to check the immigration status of a further 40,000 staff cleared to work in the security industry following the revelations.
